Job description

"We energize society" by supporting our customers to make the transition to a more sustainable world, based on innovative technologies and our ability to turn ideas into reality. With nearly 100,000 employees around the world, we shape the energy systems of today and tomorrow.

As the Lead North America Project Manager for Siemens Energy Real Estate, you will report to and support the Head of Hub Operations in strengthening project delivery across the North America portfolio. You will provide functional leadership, coaching, and oversight to North America Project Managers, helping ensure projects are properly established, executed in accordance with Siemens Energy governance, and delivered with clear accountability for scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, and close-out. Your day-to-day work will include reviewing portfolio dashboards and project reports, facilitating project health and governance reviews, coaching Project Managers on planning and execution, challenging forecasts and recovery plans, and ensuring risks and issues are identified and escalated early. You will drive consistent project management practices, coordinate support across internal functions and external partners, share lessons learned, and provide the Head of Hub Operations with a consolidated and reliable view of portfolio performance and recommended actions. Success in this role means enabling Project Managers to deliver their assigned projects safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with Siemens Energy standards—without taking over day-to-day ownership of those projects. This full-time position is based in Orlando, Florida, and requires flexibility to travel up to 60% as business needs require.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Provide functional leadership, coaching, and day-to-day support to North America Project Managers while maintaining clear accountability with each Project Manager for the successful delivery of their assigned projects; mentor team members and strengthen project management capabilities across the organization.
  • Ensure projects are properly established and executed in accordance with Siemens Energy Real Estate governance, PM@RE requirements, approval processes, controls, documentation standards, reporting requirements, and close-out expectations.
  • Lead recurring portfolio, project health, and governance reviews to evaluate scope, schedule, budget, safety, quality, risks, opportunities, forecasts, changes, resource constraints, and readiness for key decisions and project milestones.
  • Proactively identify project blockers, emerging risks, and performance gaps; assess potential business and project impacts and work with Project Managers and relevant stakeholders to establish practical mitigation and recovery plans, assign clear actions, and monitor progress through resolution. Challenge forecasts and recovery plans when projects deviate from approved objectives and escape significant concerns to the Head of Hub Operations.
  • Promote Siemens Energy’s Zero Harm Culture by ensuring safety requirements, risk controls, and corrective actions are embedded throughout the project lifecycle. Partner with Project Sponsors, Regional Area representatives, business stakeholders, Procurement, Finance, EHS, Legal, external partners, and other functions to remove barriers and enable effective project delivery.
  • Review project dashboards, schedules, cost reports, forecasts, change logs, risk registers, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness, providing the Head of Hub Operations with a consolidated view of portfolio performance, emerging risks, required decisions, and recommended actions. Drive consistency through knowledge sharing, lessons learned, standardized templates, process improvements, and targeted development across the North America Project Management team.
