Job summary
Bisnow in Oak Brook, IL seeks an experienced Project Manager to own commercial development initiatives from due diligence to completion. You will lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage budgets and schedules, and coordinate with municipalities, consultants, and tenants. Strong civil engineering and site development background is essential, with a track record in real estate development and project delivery.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering is required.
6–10 years of civil engineering/site planning/land development experience.
Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Office, and MS Project preferred.
Ability to read and interpret civil plans, reports, leases, and codes.
Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Responsibilities
Independently manage development projects from due diligence through close-out.
Lead site investigations and manage risks related to grading, stormwater, wetlands, floodplains, easements, access, utilities, and entitlements.
Coordinate with municipalities, consultants, tenants, and internal teams.
Develop budgets, forecasts, schedules, and reporting.
Lead design coordination, entitlement, permitting, and meetings.
Ensure plans comply with lease and development requirements.
Mentor junior team members and identify process improvements.
Travel as required.
