Job summary

Texas Materials, a CRH company, seeks a Plant Manager to lead the South Austin plant. You will supervise concrete production, batching, and delivery teams, drive on-time performance, and uphold safety standards.

Your role encompasses coordinating materials, payroll, and plant maintenance while fostering a high-performance culture. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years in Ready Mix operations, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of local market dynamics.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience with Ready Mix Concrete is required.
• Able to communicate effectively with customers and all company personnel.
• Extensive knowledge of the surrounding area and company products/services.
• Supervise and manage personnel; problem solving and initiative are prized.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, training, supervision and support to the concrete delivery professionals, batch concrete and maintain plants.
• Develop teamwork and foster team spirit within the concrete production and delivery departments.
• Ensure Health & Safety standards are met and promote a safe work environment.
• Review time cards, payroll, attendance and on-time delivery; control expenditures and maximize profits.
