Cognizant’s Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Lead React Developer with experience developing and building high-performing, scalable, enterprise applications. You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications. Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable and maintainable code. You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together in order to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. Location: Columbus, OH

- Develop and maintain user-facing features with a focus on performance and responsiveness.
- Craft visually engaging interfaces including layout, typography, motion, and interactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize code for performance and scalability.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in front-end development.
- 10+ years of experience in front-end development (react).
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Detail-oriented with a passion for clean, maintainable code.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Experience in crafting responsive layouts and dynamic UI components.
- Understanding of code performance and optimization techniques.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
The annual salary for this position is between $110,000 - $135,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
