Job summary

Swish Dental in Texas is seeking a highly motivated Lead RDA to join our clinical team. The Lead RDA will oversee back-studio operations, support the dentist, and ensure patient care aligns with our standards.

This role requires a Texas Registered Dental Assistant License, CPR/BLS, and 1+ year of lead experience. Expect a collaborative environment with opportunities to grow and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must have Texas Registered Dental Assistant License and CPR/BLS certification.
• Certificate of Completion from Dental Assisting Course is required.
• Minimum 1 year of lead RDA or similar experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
• Perform dental radiographs (x-rays) and scans.
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, equipment, and patient rooms.
• Provide exceptional patient care throughout their visit.
• Take impressions of patients' teeth.
• Communicate effectively and efficiently.
• Maintain a 'team first' and 'patient first' mentality.
• Continuously increase knowledge and job skills.
• Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and Texas Dental Board standards.
• Provide post-treatment oral care instructions to patients.
• Teach patients oral hygiene strategies to maintain health.
• Review the schedule and keep the back studio running smoothly.
• Keep track of inventory and place orders when supplies are low.
• Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate with tech team.
