Job summary

JWCH Institute is seeking a Lead Registered Dental Assistant in Los Angeles, CA. The role combines leadership with hands-on clinical support and office duties to ensure smooth dental operations.

The Lead RDA will mentor staff, assist dentists in procedures, train new hires, manage patient flow, maintain equipment, and support front-office tasks. Bilingual English/Spanish required; California RDA credentials mandatory.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a California Board-approved RDA program.
• RDA licensure by the Dental Board of California.
• Completion of 2-hour CA Dental Practice Act course.
• 8-hour Infection Control course per CA Dental Board guidelines.
• AHA-approved Basic Life Support/CPR training.
• Coronal Polish certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor dental assistants; supervise daily operations.
• Assist dentists during procedures with 4-handed dentistry.
• Train new hires and conduct staff huddles with Dental Manager.
• Assist patients and resolve questions; direct patient flow.
• Handle inventory, ordering, and sterilization per policy.
• Perform select procedures per regulations (impressions, temp crowns, sealants).
• Front-office duties: scheduling, insurance checks, check-in/out, collections.
• Ensure HIPAA, infection control, safety, and compliance.
• Travel to sites as needed and participate in safety trainings.
