Job summary
Banner Health in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Registered Dietitian Lead to oversee the clinical nutrition department, perform comprehensive nutrition assessments, and develop care plans for acute care patients. The role requires 3–5 years of acute care experience and RD/RDN credentials, with a Master’s degree preferred for exam eligibility.
You will collaborate with medical providers, nursing, therapy, and culinary teams and contribute to education and CQI initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition or Dietetics and RD/RDN certification.
- Master’s degree required for eligibility to take the registration exam.
- Current state licensure and ongoing renewal.
- 3–5 years in clinical, acute care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the clinical nutrition department and supervise staff.
- Perform nutrition assessments and develop care plans.
- Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and staff.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on patient care.
- Support CQI activities and education materials development.
- Assist with program marketing and scheduling coverage.
