Job summary

Corps Solutions is seeking a Range Safety Specialist to provide expert range safety support and ensure compliance with installation SOPs across multiple ranges and training areas.

The role includes developing courseware, delivering instruction, and coordinating with the Range Control Officer on scheduling, safety inspections, and incident reporting. A minimum of three years in range safety is required, with preferred leadership background as a Range Safety Officer or Officer in Charge.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of Range Safety experience.
• Former SNCO or Officer with Range Safety Officer or Officer in Charge experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide range safety support and enforce range regulations.
• Coordinate with Range Control Officer on scheduling and safety.
• Review installation SOPs and reflect changes in RFMSS tables.
• Deliver range safety and laser safety training courseware.
• Provide instruction for Range Safety Specialists and Officers in Charge.
• Respond to training accidents and coordinate with first responders.
