Job summary

Corps Solutions seeks a Range Safety Specialist to provide authoritative safety oversight for range operations across installations. You will inspect ranges, resolve safety conflicts, deliver incident reports, and support laser safety training and curriculum development.

Qualified candidates have 3+ years of range safety experience, strong English communication, and proficiency with MS Office. This role requires travel and shift flexibility for 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Make recommendations to resolve range and safety conflicts for range requests not covered by the installation range SOPs to the Range Safety Officer.
• Conduct a semiannual review of conflicts against the installation range SOP.
• Review updates to Installation Range SOPs and reflect changes in RFMSS tables.
• Develop a range safety inspection schedule and obtain approval from Range Safety Officer.
• Inspect ranges for safety violations and verify ranges are in working condition.
• Deliver range incident reports from RFMSS ad-hoc reports module.
• Support production of courseware focusing on range safety and laser safety.
• Provide training for Range Safety Specialists and Officers in Charge.
