Job summary

Orlando Health South Lake Hospital in Clermont, FL is seeking a Lead Radiology Tech for a full-time weekend schedule (Fri-Sun). This role directs daily imaging workflow, supports the Imaging Services leadership, and ensures high-quality diagnostic images.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
Minimum 1 year of radiology experience required.
Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist licensure required.
ARRT certification and ongoing BLS/Healthcare provider certification required.
Maintain current radiology safety and patient care standards.

Responsibilities

Directs daily workflow of the Imaging team including patient flow and staff assignments.
Assists with education and training of all team members.
Plans and prioritizes exam scheduling to support patients and physicians.
Ensures images meet established Quality Control standards.
Supports supervisor in evaluations and coaching plans.
Participates in departmental projects and process improvements.
Uses Corporate Radiology systems accurately and effectively.
Demonstrates proficiency with contrast medications and emergency response.
