Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Valid Alabama radiologic technologist licensure.
• ARRT certification and required BLS healthcare provider certification.
• 1 year of experience in Radiology is required.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily workflow and assists the Imaging Services Supervisor, Imaging Services Manager, and/or Imaging Services Director.
• Plans and prioritizes exam scheduling and processing that support patient and physician needs.
• Ensures images meet established Quality Control standards.
• Assists in holding self and team accountable for producing quality images, documentation, and charge management through the Quality Control Program.
• Provides input to supervisor for evaluations/coaching plans.
• Active participation in departmental projects and process improvements initiatives.
• Utilizes Corporate Radiology computer systems effectively and accurately.
• Demonstrates proficiency in contrast medication administration and manages adverse reactions.
