Job summary

Good Samaritan Medical Center, part of Tenet Healthcare, seeks an experienced Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures, supervise staff, and ensure high-quality radiographs in a dynamic hospital setting. The role includes equipment operation, patient care, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited radiologic technologist program.
• Three years of experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT certification and active Florida state licensure.
• Current CPR (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate radiography procedures across departments and nursing units.
• Supervise, schedule and assign radiology staff and trainees.
• Review radiographs for diagnostic quality and accuracy.
• Maintain Radiology/RIS systems and manage inventory.
• Operate radiography equipment per protocol and safety standards.
• Attend to direct and indirect patient care needs and comfort.
• Interview, train, and evaluate radiology technicians.
• Prepare rooms, supplies, and equipment for patient and physician needs.

Up to $20,000 SOB for qualified candidates, paid over 24 months.

Coordinates the flow of radiography procedures between various departments and nursing units. Supervises, schedules and assigns staff. Reviews radiographs for diagnostic quality. Maintains Radiology/RIS and controls inventory. Operates radiography equipment to perform a variety of imaging procedures as indicated by protocol. Attends to direct and indirect patient care needs. Interviews, trains and evaluates radiology technical staff. Prepares rooms, supplies and equipment for patient and physician needs. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited program for Radiologic Technologists

Three years' experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)

Licensed Radiologic Technologists, State of Florida (HRS)

Current CPR (BCLS) certification
