RWJBarnabas Health in New Brunswick, NJ seeks a Radiologic Technologist Lead to oversee imaging procedures and ensure high-quality radiographs. You will work night shift, perform radiographic and fluoroscopic exams, and support student technologists under the Radiology Department.

Qualifications

• ARRT Certification in Radiation Technology required.
• NJ radiology license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of radiology technician experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiographic images or operate fluoroscopic equipment as instructed.
• Minimize radiation exposure and protect patient safety.
• Ensure patient comfort during procedures.
• Prepare and select contrast media for examinations and special studies.
• Process radiographic images and upload to PACS.
• Verify patient identification and indicate the correct body part on all images.
• Process x-ray requests and assist in instruction of student technologists.
• Demonstrate technical art to student radiographers.
