Job summary

Piedmont Augusta Hospital in Georgia is seeking a Lead Radiologic Technologist to oversee daily MRI operations and supervise staff.

The role requires 3 years of radiology experience, ARRT/ARDMS registration and BCLS, with AMA/JRCERT accreditation standards to maintain. Schedule is Monday–Thursday, 7:30 am–6 pm, with 24/7 department coverage.

You will collaborate with department managers to ensure proper staffing and high-quality imaging services across the facility.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT-accredited training.
• 3 years of technical radiology experience.
• Experience in personnel leadership.

Responsibilities

• Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership.
• Ensures 24/7 department coverage in coordination with managers.
• Maintains accreditation standards and stays current with imaging technology.
• Operates MRI and related equipment as appropriate.
