Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute in Brooksville is seeking a Radiation Therapist Lead to coordinate care and oversee daily operational activities in radiation oncology. You will manage treatments on linear accelerators, conduct simulations and special procedures, and ensure SOP adherence across the team.

The role requires ARRT (T) certification, a Florida CRT/RTT license, and five years of clinical radiation therapy experience, plus leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree is required.
• Must have ARRT (T) certification.
• A Florida CRT/RTT license in state of employment is required.
• Five (5) years of clinical radiation therapy experience required.
• Management/Leadership experience is needed.
• BLS required (AHA preferred).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care under the direction of the Vice President, Radiation Services Manager, Dosimetrist, Physicist and/or Radiation Oncologist.
• Oversee daily operations of the technical operations.
• Manage daily treatments on linear accelerators, special procedures and simulations.
• Uphold SOPs; orient and train staff on SOPs and new procedures.
• Ensure safe staffing levels on linear accelerators.
