Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute, LLC seeks a Radiation Therapist Lead to coordinate care within radiation oncology at the Brooksville Office. You will oversee daily operations, ensure safe staffing, execute treatments, and uphold SOPs while guiding staff through new procedures.

The ideal candidate holds an Associate degree, ARRT (T) certification, and a Florida CRT/RTT license, with at least five years of clinical experience and prior management.

Qualifications

• Associate degree is required.
• Must have ARRT (T) certification.
• A valid Florida CRT/RTT license in state of employment.
• Five (5) years of previous clinical radiation therapy experience required.
• Management/Leadership experience is needed.
• BLS required (AHA preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Vice President, Radiation Services Manager, Dosimetrist, Physicist and/or the Radiation Oncologist the Radiation Therapist Lead is responsible for the coordination of care as it relates to radiation oncology.
• Responsible for the daily operations of the technical operations.
• This includes daily treatments on the linear accelerators, special procedures and simulations.
• Responsible to know, understand and uphold the SOP’s.
• Orient and train staff on SOP’s and new procedures.
• Assure safe staffing levels on linear accelerators.
