Job summary

Ultra Maritime invites a highly experienced Principal Systems Engineer to lead radar system development from concept to integration and test. You will coordinate with RF, mechanical, electrical, and software engineers to ensure timely, cost-effective, high-quality delivery.

The role involves shaping system requirements, performing trade studies, and influencing future proposals and R&D activities. Security clearances may be required and travel is expected.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in a complex engineering environment.
• BS degree in Systems/EE or related discipline.
• May be required to maintain security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead system engineering activities across radar-related projects.
• Provide technical leadership and trade-space analyses with Project Engineer.
• Coordinate with RF, Mechanical, Electrical, and Software teams.
• Support proposal efforts with technical inputs and cost estimates.
• Direct tests and integration activities for hardware/software systems.
