Job summary

Castelion Corporation is seeking a Lead Manufacturing Engineer to own the development and scale-up of radar manufacturing. You will drive transition from prototype to high-rate production, covering PCBAs, RF electronics, electromechanical assemblies, and related tooling, with close collaboration across design, supply chain, and quality teams.

You will lead production readiness, define processes, and establish metrics to improve yield, throughput, and cost while maintaining flight-worthy

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of manufacturing, production, or NPI engineering experience.
• Experience scaling complex hardware from development into production.
• Hands-on PCBA/electronics manufacturing and electromechanical assemblies.
• Demonstrated ownership of manufacturing projects and production problems.

Responsibilities

• Own manufacturing engineering for radar hardware from development through high-rate production.
• Develop and scale manufacturing processes for PCBAs, RF electronics, radar modules, and assemblies.
• Drive DFM/DFA with design engineering to improve manufacturability and cost.
• Lead production readiness, tooling, work instructions, control plans, and qualification.
• Develop strategies to support rapid production rate increases.
• Identify constraints and implement tooling, automation, and process improvements.
• Lead root-cause investigations and corrective actions for defects.
• Establish production metrics and improve cycle time, first-pass yield, and OEE.
• Industrialize critical radar components with suppliers and internal teams.
• Hire, develop, and grow the radar manufacturing engineering team.
