The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of technical radiology experience, ARRT/ARDMS certification, and BCLS. The position requires supervision duties and staying current with imaging technology to maintain accreditation standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs and supervises modality daily operations with 70% patient care and 30% supervisory functions.
• Promotes imaging services and stays up-to-date with technology and equipment.
• Ensures accreditation standards are maintained and MRI equipment is operated as appropriate.
• Coordinates with department managers to ensure 24/7 staffing.

Overview

The schedule for this position is Monday - Thursday, 7:30 am - 6 pm.

Responsibilities

Performs and supervises modality daily operations and provides leadership relative to the assigned area. This position requires 70 percent patient care and 30 percent supervisory functions. Promotes and advocates imaging services by remaining abreast of the latest changes in technology and equipment. The Lead Radiological Technologist ensures accreditations standards are maintained as well as performs a variety of tasks involving the operation of MRI equipment and other equipment/devices as appropriate. Works closely with department Managers to ensure that the department is adequately staffed for 24/7 coverage.

• Graduate of Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology program or JRCERT accredited hospital-based training program. Required
