Job summary

IBM Research in New York seeks a Quantum Developer Relations Lead to grow adoption of IBM Quantum technologies across the global developer ecosystem. You will design programs that help developers become productive quickly, remove barriers to adoption, and foster long-term engagement with IBM Quantum.

Collaborate with Product Management and Engineering to identify friction points, influence roadmap, improve SDKs and documentation, and build a thriving quantum developer community through talks,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Physics, Engineering, Quantum Information Science, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years in Developer Relations, Advocacy, Technical Education, or Community Management.
• Experience building and growing technical communities.
• Experience creating technical content: tutorials, docs, blogs, videos, talks.
• Excellent public speaking and technical storytelling skills.
• Strong understanding of developer workflows and experience.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Engineering, PM, Research, Marketing, and Customer Success.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy to grow adoption of IBM Quantum technologies globally.
• Design programs to onboard developers and remove adoption barriers.
• Represent IBM Quantum in talks, workshops, hackathons, conferences, webinars, and community events.
• Create reusable technical assets to accelerate developer success.
• Measure adoption and improve the developer journey.
