Job summary

Bilfinger UK is seeking a Managing Quantity Surveyor to take day-to-day commercial leadership and financial control of the K30 Tie-In works, onsite in Hull. You will ensure accurate measurement, valuation and recovery in line with NEC4 Option B, and act as the commercial link between site delivery, change events and forecast outcomes.

Based on a strong site focus, you will manage subcontractor accounts, develop robust measurement records and deliver timely applications for payment while

Qualifications

• Significant Quantity Surveying/commercial experience on major engineering, construction, energy or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract administration.
• Ability to lead subcontractor accounts from procurement through final account.
• Excellent cost-control, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Ability to interpret drawings, scope documents and BOQs.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial management of K30 Tie-In works on site.
• Maintain detailed understanding of scope, prices and BOQ.
• Prepare and manage timely applications for payment.
• Reconcile quantities and costs against budgets and forecasts.
• Provide commercial reporting to Head of Commercial and project leadership.
• Maintain contemporaneous records supporting measurement and entitlement.
