Job summary

Ripple is seeking a Lead Technical Recruiter to own the end-to-end process for Quantitative Engineers and Researchers, partnering with hiring managers to attract world-class talent and drive a data-driven hiring bar.

You will develop sourcing strategies using Kaggle, GitHub, ArXiv, and niche finance conferences, ensure a white-glove candidate experience, and collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to align recruiting with strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in recruiting, with 3+ years focusing on Quantitative Engineering, HFT, or ML talent.
• Agency + in-house startup experience preferred for high-volume and high-touch hiring.
• Proven sourcing track record and ability to engage passive, highly compensated talent.
• Experience using niche channels (math Olympiads, research labs, conferences).
• Strong written and verbal skills, able to speak the language of PhDs and engineers.

Responsibilities

• Own specialized recruiting process from sourcing to complex offer negotiations for Quantitative Engineering and Algorithmic Trading roles.
• Develop high-level sourcing strategies with Engineering Leads to meet aggressive hiring goals.
• Plan out-of-the-box sourcing strategies to attract elite talent from Kaggle, GitHub, ArXiv, and NeurIPS/ICML.
• Ensure a white-glove candidate experience throughout rigorous assessments.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand quant stacks and performance engineering needs.
• Lead intake meetings, interview team kick-offs, and technical debriefs with a data-driven approach.
• Provide weekly performance analytics to management.
