Job summary

Copeland is seeking a Sr. Quality Test Technician in the Kennesaw, GA area to lead testing across the Controls Solutions – Cold Chain portfolio.

You will plan tests, develop test cases, execute cycles and mentor onsite and offshore teams while coordinating with engineering for issue resolution. The ideal candidate has electronics expertise, a strong grasp of electrical safety standards, and hands-on experience with HVAC/refrigeration controls.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in a combination of controls, firmware, peripherals, embedded systems and software testing.
• 1+ year as a senior or lead tester for controls, firmware, embedded, peripherals or software teams.

Responsibilities

• Test planning, forecasting test cycles, test case development and test execution.
• Identify defects, document root cause observations, and coordinate with Engineering for resolution.
• Document test results and ensure timelines are met.
• Provide mentorship to onsite and offshore test teams and support Engineering, Product Management and Technical Services.
• Maintain test environments and report quality metrics to drive continuous improvement.
