Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality role, with at least 2 years in a lead/supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
• Proficiency with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers), CMM, SPC, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Quality Technicians, providing guidance and performance feedback.
• Perform complex inspections and tests on materials, components, and finished products.
• Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot defects and deviations; implement corrective actions.
• Develop and implement quality control plans and work instructions.
• Conduct internal audits and support external audits for ISO 9001 compliance.
• Collect quality data, generate reports, and present findings to management.
• Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives (8D, FMEA).
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and standards.
