Job summary

Stark Carpet is seeking an experienced QC Supervisor to lead and mentor the Quality Control Inspectors and Packers. The role focuses on maintaining high standards of workmanship across rug production, with accountability for daily task assignment and adherence to schedules.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years in quality control within textiles, and a background in supervising teams. Strong attention to detail and proficiency in quality documentation are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years in quality control, textile manufacturing, rug/flooring fabrication, or related manufacturing environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, and mentor Quality Control Inspectors and Packers within the department.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor team performance, and ensure adherence to production schedules.
• Provide ongoing coaching to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
• Enforce safety protocols, workplace procedures, and company policies.
• Inspect rugs for workmanship, color accuracy, pattern alignment, binding/serging, and finishing quality.
• Approve or reject rugs based on quality standards and document defects.
• Develop quality checkpoints to reduce rework and returns.
• Partner with Fabrication, Finishing, and Shipping to resolve issues quickly.
• Maintain consistent inspection standards to meet company requirements.
