Luster National, Inc. seeks a Quality Manager to lead the QA program for large heavy‑civil projects, including highways, bridges, rail, and water facilities. You will develop the QMS, audit contractor plans, and close nonconformances to contract requirements.

This is a senior role with emphasis on standards compliance and continuous improvement. Ideal candidates will have a civil engineering or related background, 10+ years QA experience on large projects, and familiarity with Kahua, Unifier,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, construction engineering, or quality management, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 10+ years of quality management experience for large (> $500M), complex heavy‑civil projects.
• Experience developing and administering quality management system documentation aligned to ISO 9001:2015, including quality plans, procedures, and audit programs.
• Experience leading quality assurance audits and driving nonconformances and corrective actions to closure.
• Experience reading construction drawings, specifications, and industry codes such as ASTM, ACI, and AWS.
• Experience with industry standard quality and project management information software (Kahua, Unifier, e-Builder, Primavera P6).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite/Office 365.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain the quality management system for the program, including the quality manual, procedures, and forms.
• Review the quality control plans and inspection/test plans to ensure contract requirements are met before work begins.
• Audit designer and QC programs against approved plans and report on actual practice.
• Oversee nonconformance reporting from identification through disposition and closure.
• Verify materials testing and independent assurance testing are performed and results are traceable.
• Coordinate quality surveillance across disciplines to apply one standard.
• Evaluate design quality and ensure submittals arrive with checks completed.
• Lead root cause analysis and drive corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Analyze quality data and report audit status, trends, and nonconformances to leadership.
• Deliver quality orientation and training to program staff and designers.
