Job summary

OMCO, a MacLean-Fogg Company, is seeking a Lead Quality Inspector in Wickliffe, OH to coordinate quality inspection activities and ensure manufactured products meet established quality and reliability standards. In this hands‑on leadership role, you will perform inspections, mentor team members, analyze quality data, and drive process improvements that support safe, consistent, and efficient production.

Location: Wickliffe, OH; on-site with 1st and 2nd shifts available.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in quality inspection or related field.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, quality specs, and work instructions.
• Proficiency with advanced gauging and precision measurement instruments.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality concerns and drive improvements.
• Verbal and written communication to document findings and guide team members.
• Leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate quality inspection activities to ensure in-process and finished products meet standards.
• Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections to verify quality.
• Operate and calibrate precision measurement instruments; ensure accurate results.
• Record and analyze quality data; prepare reports and recommend changes to standards and procedures.
• Coach and mentor team members; address performance and provide feedback.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in inspection processes.
