Job summary

Amphenol Industrial Operations is seeking a Lead Quality Inspector to oversee daily inspection activities across shifts and ensure products meet quality standards and customer specs. You will guide inspection teams, support training, and maintain accurate records in the ERP system.

The role acts as a bridge between Quality Assurance and Production, driving efficiency, continuous improvement, and adherence to ISO/AS9102 standards. Strong leadership and measurement skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Required: Highschool diploma or equivalent and quality inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Experience using precision measuring tools and interpreting requirements from drawings.
• Ability to read specifications and work with GD&T is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily responsibilities of Quality Inspectors across all shifts.
• Assign inspection tasks and manage workload to meet production demands.
• Coach, train, and provide ongoing performance feedback to inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records and support MRB processes.
• Collaborate with Engineering and QA to drive root cause analysis and improvements.
