Job summary

Accurate Marking & Manufacturing (AM&M) in New Kensington, PA, seeks a skilled Lead Inspector to drive quality and mentorship across the inspection team. You will apply CMM and manual measurement techniques, read complex blueprints, and guide corrective actions to ensure top-tier parts.

Responsibilities include leading audits, recording precise inspection data, and maintaining compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and continuous improvement will define this role.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of inspection experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Leadership experience supervising or mentoring teams.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and using metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS).
  • ASQ Certified Quality Inspector or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS9100 quality systems preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication for team collaboration and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and document non-conformances, collaborating with production teams on corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records, generate inspection reports, and ensure compliance with ISO/AS9100 standards.
  • Promote a safe, organized workspace and contribute to process improvements for efficiency.
