Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking an experienced Lead Quality Control Inspector to lead hands-on inspection of complex electronic subassemblies, PCBs, and box builds. You will verify product quality against drawings and IPC standards, set up test equipment, and train junior inspectors in a fast-paced environment.

Qualified candidates read BOLs and assembly drawings, understand ESD and QMS principles, with at least 4 years in quality control. This on-site role supports production in a manufacturing setting.

In this role, you will verify product quality against customer drawings and IPC standards, set up test equipment, and help train and guide junior inspectors in a fast-paced environment.

All candidates must have working knowledge of electronic quality standards, ESD, quality management system principals- ability to read BOLs and assembly drawings

salary: $52,000 - $84,000 per year

shift: First

work hours: 7 AM - 3:30 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Conduct first-piece, visual, and instrumental final inspections using microscopes, calipers, and gauges.
• Identify PCB components via silkscreen markings and design documentation.
• Program/operate AOI machines and document non-conformances on QC reports.
• Train new inspectors on techniques, quality standards, and IPC requirements.
• Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC/WHMA-A-620, ESD practices, and AS9100D/ISO 13485 QMS principles.
• Proficient in reading engineering drawings, schematics, and BOMs.
• strong component identification skills, good eyesight, and English communication skills.
