Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to partner with Data Center Engineering teams on design quality, construction coordination, and lifecycle governance for AWS data centers. You will drive scalable processes, governance, and automation to support global infrastructure delivery while working with Design Managers, DLs, and external partners.

You will contribute to end-to-end project lifecycle coordination, review multiparty design outcomes, and mentor junior QAEs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities such as data centers, power generation, or oil and gas facilities.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required.
• Experience commissioning projects and systems is required.
• Proficiency with project management and collaboration platforms (Smartsheet, Procore, ACC, Salesforce) is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of discipline leads to deliver quality and globally consistent DC designs.
• Drive design development, change management, permitting, and implementation lifecycle.
• Eliminate rework and automate manual work via standardization and automation.
• Lead QA reviews for multidisciplinary engineering design deliverables across project phases.
• Review engineering drawings, narratives, specifications, and construction documentation for quality and compliance.
