Actalent in West Hartford, CT is seeking a Lead Quality Engineer to support an aerospace fuel systems product line. The role emphasizes RCCA, supplier quality, and driving continuous improvement with a path to Quality Manager within 12–24 months.

You will work hands-on initially, collaborate across Manufacturing, Engineering, Customers, and Suppliers, and eventually lead a team of four. This is an on-site position with growth into a leadership role.

Formación

• RCCA / root cause corrective action experience (8D, 5 Why, CAPA).
• Experience with NCRs, non-conforming material investigations, and supplier quality.
• Aerospace quality or other highly regulated industries.
• Strong cross-functional and supplier/customer interface skills.
• Experience with AS9100/ISO 9001 quality systems and audits.

Responsabilidades

• Act as the primary quality engineering resource for RCCA and quality issues.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, engineering, customers, and suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the product line.
• Hands-on contributor during learning phase; transition to Quality Manager within ~6 months.
• Lead a team of 4 direct reports after transitioning to manager role.
