Job summary

Crestview Aerospace is seeking a Quality Engineer to manage quality on assigned programs and customer relations. You will lead cross-functional teams using 8D or similar problem-solving methods to address quality complaints and drive effective corrective actions.

Ideal candidates will have a mechanical engineering degree (or equivalent) with 5+ years in quality, ASQ certification, and experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 and AIAG guidelines; Lean SSGB preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technical degree/quality certification required, plus 5+ years in quality engineering.
• ASQ Quality Engineering Certification with 5–7 years of related manufacturing experience.
• Lean Manufacturing experience; SSGB preferred.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages quality aspects of assigned programs and customer(s).
• Leads cross-functional teams in 8D or other problem-solving methodology to resolve complaints and concerns.
• Provide timely investigation and follow-up to product quality issues and manufacturing concerns.
• Coach team members on defect reduction through root cause analysis and corrective action plans.
• Ensure corrective actions for supplier and customer concerns are effective, documented, and closed.
• Champion scrap reduction plans and improve First Time Quality in the plant.
