Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the establishment of a new quality organization for AP1000 projects. You will guide QA strategy across large-scale nuclear projects, ensuring safety, compliance and performance while building a team that will report to you.

You will report to the Director of APX Quality, Environment, Health and Safety and be based in Cranberry Township, PA or Rock Hill, SC with a hybrid work arrangement requiring on-site presence two days per

Qualifications

• BS Degree or equivalent engineering or technical field.
• 8+ years of quality assurance experience with increasing responsibility.
• Broad knowledge of QA regulations, codes and standards.
• Ability to travel Internationally up to 25% when projects require.

Responsibilities

• Embed quality throughout the project lifecycle from bid to delivery.
• Design staffing strategies and grow a QA team for AP1000 projects.
• Lead QA scope, develop cost estimates, and manage project risks.
• Oversee implementation of the Westinghouse QMS and project quality plans.
• Lead internal audits, surveillances, and self-assessments.
• Develop and manage department budget and control costs.
• Promote a nuclear safety culture and continuous improvement.
