Job summary

Rudolph & Sletten, a Tutor Perini Company, is seeking a Quality Control Manager in Los Angeles, CA to oversee QC engineering and inspection across multiple disciplines on large commercial projects.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and 5–8 years of relevant experience. Certification such as PE or CQM is a plus, with strong leadership and communication skills essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5–8 years of experience in quality control on construction projects.
• Experience across civil, structural, architectural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing disciplines.
• Experience on large commercial projects valued around $50 million or more.
• PE, EIT, or USACE CQM certification is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and supervisory skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Contractor Quality Control Plan and associated inspections.
• Develop knowledge of the quality control program, standards, procedures, and applicable codes.
• Review design and product submittal processes and control documentation.
• Perform quality control inspections and witness tests to determine acceptability of work.
• Coordinate quality assurance inspectors with the owner's representative.
• Maintain work and inspection records and ensure documentation accuracy.
• Participate in internal and external quality control audits.
• Review purchase documents for quality control compliance.
• Inspect and inventory material shipments for compliance.
• Address quality control issues proactively to support project progress.
