Job summary

Anixter Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Lead QIDP to perform high-level case management for individuals with disabilities across DD 24-Hour CILA and ICILA locations. You will maintain caseloads, oversee compliance tracking, and coordinate schedules and outcomes with the QIDP team.

You will supervise DSPs, train staff on client needs, and collaborate with BCBA/SST to improve services. A QIDP credential and strong DHS process knowledge are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social service or related field and at least two years of management experience.
• Must have Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP) certification or be qualified to obtain QIDP certification within 6 months of hire.
• Must maintain CEU’s for the QIDP certification throughout employment.
• One year of experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, meet agency insurance requirements, and drive larger vehicles (i.e., 12 to 15 passenger van, agency bus, etc.).
• Demonstrate ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds.
• ASL proficiency preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead case management duties as a QIDP for DD 24-Hour CILA locations and ICILA locations.
• Maintain a caseload and oversee monitoring spreadsheets to ensure compliance with Rule 115 and passing audits.
• Coordinate, monitor, and update active schedules, strategies, and outcomes for individuals with disabilities.
• Supervise Direct Support Professionals (DSP) assigned.
• Train staff on client strategies, outcomes, medical and behavioral needs.
• Collaborate with BCBA, SST, and other teams to improve services and continuity.
• Ensure timely completion of client documentation and incident reports.
