Job summary

Cinterra is seeking a hands-on Quality Control Lead for our on-site solar and utility-scale projects. You will manage and execute the site QC program, guiding a team of technicians and coordinating with QC management.

You will review plans, specs, and contract requirements, train staff, perform QC inspections, document results, and address non-conformances. Willingness to travel and work long hours is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years solar electrical experience.
• Experience in field quality/operations management or similar role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Familiar with AHJ standards and NEC code.
• Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, and equipment standards.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate safety as a core value and support the safety program.
• Manage and execute site-specific QC plan with a team of QC technicians.
• Apply SOPs, Standardized Work Instructions, and QC checklists.
• Review project design, drawings and specifications for conformity to QC program.
• Train technicians on QC inspections and how to identify non-conformance issues.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure documentation is submitted to the customer per contract requirements.
• Identify, communicate and track non-conformance material or test results; implement corrective actions.
