Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a quality assurance/quality control environment.
• Strong organizational and leadership abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and operator instructions.
• Familiarity with basic measuring instruments and calibration.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process, receiving and final quality inspections to ensure conformance to drawings and specifications.
• Lead and schedule one or more inspectors in daily workflow.
• Coordinate non-conforming material disposition with manufacturing and suppliers.
• Travel to local suppliers for in-process and final inspection audits when needed.
• Support QC Manager and facilitate third-party inspector visits.
• Prepare non-conformance reports and drive corrective actions.
