Job summary

Pennoni is seeking an Inspection Supervisor to oversee QA inspection services for structural steel fabrication, coatings, and related bridge materials. The role covers Northeastern U.S.

projects, supervision of inspection staff, client coordination, and ensuring compliance with DOT/AASHTO/Welding codes. The position requires 8+ years in QA/QC, relevant AWS/ASNT certifications, and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of QA/QC inspection experience, including 1–3 years in a supervisory role.
• AWS CWI and ASNT Level II/III certifications; AMPP Basic Coatings Inspector; OSHA 10.
• Strong knowledge of DOT specifications and related codes (AASHTO/AWS D1.5, D1.1).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight for QA inspection staff on DOT projects.
• Review reports, ensure compliance, and coordinate with clients and facilities.
• Mentor inspectors and participate in QA/QC planning and procedures.
• Support staffing/resource planning and maintain quality control records.
