Trigyn's direct government client has an immediate need for a Lead QA Tester in Menands, NY.

Description:

Create and maintain Test plans, Test strategy documents, Test scripts, Tests, Test scenarios, Test matrices for Workers? Compensation Board (WCB) Applications
Perform Test and Defect Management using tools like HP ALM and or JIRA
Assist and provide QA activities through all phases of the system development life cycle and ensure Testing milestones and dates are met.
Perform Test execution & Analyzing Test results and Reporting.
Estimate test effort for projects and provide estimations. Plan to ensure testing milestones and dates are met.
Perform back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries.

Mandatory Qualification:

Conducts automated and manual tests to ensure that the software created/upgraded performs as necessary and meets the user requirements. Develops and maintains user and technical documentation and project process documentation for application teams. Understands the view of applications and/or technology and is able to put procedures in a logical sequence.
Candidate is able to work independently, without assistance and provides guidance to others. May have an advanced education.
72 Months experience with Business Requirements Priority Matrix, Business Requirements Document, Gap Analysis Document and validate and verify the requirements for complex changes to current business processes, policies and information systems
72 Months of QA experience planning, designing, developing, and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts & Manage defects using tools such as HP ALM or JIRA.
60 Months experience as a QA team lead with expertise in handling multiple projects simultaneously.
36 Months of experience in performing back-end Testing, Data Validation, Data Analysis, Data migration and execute SQL queries.
12 Months experience in system testing, with knowledge of WCB applications and expertise in WCB systems.
