Job summary

Jobvite, Inc. in Marshalltown, IA is seeking a Quality Assurance & Food Safety specialist to inspect areas, perform sanitation audits, and monitor equipment and temperatures across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing.
• Able to work all 3 shifts; heavy lifting; hot and cold temperatures.
• Experience with Microsoft products and multiple computer programs.
• Typing speed of at least 50 WPM.
• Attention to detail required.
• Internal candidates preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect designated areas for cleanliness and sanitation to ensure efficient and effective daily operation.
• Perform regular audits of products to ensure quality and cleanliness.
• Monitor and record condition of equipment, boxes, facilities, and temperatures of room, product, trailers, sterilizers.
• Complete necessary paperwork (sanitation report).
• Verify accuracy of scales, equipment, and labels.
• Observe hourly employees to ensure proper procedures are being followed.
• Attend meetings as scheduled or called.
• Perform various other duties as needed or assigned.
