Job summary

PingWind, Inc. is seeking a Lead QA Engineer to oversee QA across cloud-based applications. You will design and execute test plans, manage defects, and drive delivery of high-quality software in AWS environments using Azure DevOps for CI/CD and tracking.

The ideal candidate brings 8–10 years QA experience, 5+ in lead roles, and hands-on Cypress automation, with Selenium or Appium a plus. Active Secret clearance and US citizenship are required.

• 5+ years in Senior/Lead capacity
• Hands-on with Cypress
• Experience with test automation frameworks
• AWS testing experience
• Azure DevOps for test management and CI/CD
• US citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Test Strategy & Execution: Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases across functional, performance, and security testing
• Test Automation (Cypress): Develop and maintain end-to-end test suites in Cypress to reduce manual testing
• Cloud Environment Testing (AWS): Test distributed applications and microservices in AWS
• CI/CD Integration (Azure DevOps): Integrate automated tests into Azure DevOps pipelines for continuous testing
• Defect Management: Track defects using Azure DevOps or Jira, coordinate with development teams
• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead QA initiatives and mentor junior team members
