Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead QA Engineer to oversee QA efforts in East London. You will develop comprehensive testing strategies, lead a team of QA professionals, and ensure delivery of high-quality software products.

The role requires expertise in testing methodologies, automation frameworks, and defect resolution. You will mentor engineers, drive quality initiatives, and collaborate with development and product teams to raise standards across the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and testing.
• Proven experience in a Lead QA Engineer role or similar leadership position.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Appium) and frameworks.
• Proficiency in writing test cases, reporting bugs, and analyzing test results.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for software applications.
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, overseeing their daily tasks and professional development.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring their timely resolution.
• Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure a shared understanding of quality standards.
• Advocate for quality best practices throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
