ThriveCart is seeking a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer to coordinate QA across multiple teams and drive testing and automation initiatives. You will shape QA standards, support release readiness, and help ensure reliable, high‑quality software for our platform used by digital course creators and online businesses.

You will mentor QA staff, collaborate with engineering, product, and business teams, and promote best practices.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Software QA or testing within SaaS, eCommerce, fintech, or similar.
• Strong experience with both manual and automated testing.
• Experience coordinating, mentoring, or leading QA teams.
• Experience supporting software release cycles and cross-functional product teams.
• Experience testing APIs, databases, workflows, and web interfaces.
• Experience testing payment systems or transaction flows is highly valued.
• Proven track record of improving QA processes, automation coverage, and overall product quality.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate QA activities across releases to ensure quality standards are met.
• Lead test planning, execution, validation, and post-release verification efforts.
• Monitor product quality, identify risks, and work with engineering teams to address issues proactively.
• Support incident investigation, defect triage, and root cause analysis activities.
• Help improve testing environments, release readiness processes, and quality monitoring practices.
• Balance delivery timelines with quality expectations and provide recommendations on release readiness.
• Mentor QA team members and promote quality best practices across engineering teams.
• Partner with Engineering Managers, Product Managers, and developers to foster a culture of shared quality ownership.
• Provide input on quality risks, testing strategy, and process improvements during planning and development.
