Job summary

Responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA engineers and analysts, including performance reviews, career development, and day‑to‑day support.
  • Define and execute the QA strategy across manual and automated testing, aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Establish and improve QA processes, standards, and best practices (test planning, test case design, defect management, reporting).
  • Oversee test execution for web, mobile, and API‑based applications, ensuring comprehensive coverage.
  • Drive test automation initiatives, including framework selection, implementation, and maintenance.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to integrate QA into the development lifecycle (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Ensure compliance with fintech‑specific standards such as security, data privacy, and audit readiness (e.g., SOC2).
  • Monitor quality metrics (defect rates, test coverage, release readiness) and report on product quality to leadership.
  • Manage release quality gates and sign‑off processes.
  • Identify risks early and proactively recommend mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
  • 5–8+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Strong experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar).
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Strong understanding of defect tracking tools (e.g., Jira).
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Programming/scripting skills (JavaScript, Python, Java, or similar).

Compensation

The US base salary range for this full‑time position is $132,200 - $166,700 annually. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum base salary for new hires for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by multiple factors like job‑related skills, experience, and state of residence. Physical Requirements
