Job summary

Groupe Kardol in New York is seeking a Lead QA Automation Engineer to own the QA automation framework in an AI-assisted development environment. You will lead testing strategies, collaborate with the CTO and backend, data, and product teams, and drive the integration of security-aware practices as the platform scales.

This is a hybrid role based in Midtown Manhattan, offering ownership, autonomy, and the chance to shape modern QA.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in QA engineering with hands-on automation.
• Experience with AI tools in testing workflows.
• Familiarity with DAST/SAST and vulnerability scanning.
• Ownership of end-to-end QA in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the QA automation framework for an AI-assisted environment.
• Build testing pipelines aligned with AI-accelerated feature delivery.
• Introduce security-aware testing into CI/CD including vulnerability scanning.
• Partner with backend and data engineering for release quality standards.
• Ensure QA and security validation scales with team growth.
