Job summary

Elios, Inc. is seeking a QA Automation Lead to own the release-quality signal for client engagements where AI-accelerated engineering speeds delivery. This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role collaborating with client engineers and guiding two nearshore automation engineers.

You will craft behavior-first tests, diagnose failures, and remove false coverage. Expect autonomous, high-quality delivery and integration of tests into CI across projects.

Job Description

You'll own the release-quality signal for a client engagement where AI-accelerated engineering is speeding up delivery, and QA needs to keep up. This is a hands-on, client-facing consulting role. You'll work directly with the client's engineers, pair on real product changes, and lead two nearshore QA Automation Engineers.

You'll write behavior-first tests with assertions tied to real user outcomes, diagnose failures across product bugs, test bugs, locator drift, and ticket drift, and remove false coverage before it turns into expensive release debt. You'll also maintain coverage maps and decision logs, bring QA earlier into delivery, and wire automated suites into CI where needed.

We're looking for someone with around 5 years of QA automation experience who has owned a test suite hands-on, led or mentored other automation engineers, and worked in embedded consulting or agency environments, not only product companies. You should already be AI-native in your workflow, comfortable using tools like Claude Code daily, and credible with client stakeholders.

This role is fully remote within the US. It's a fit for someone who moves quickly, works autonomously, and takes pride in shipping complete, high-quality solutions.
