Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience.
• Strong experience with Python, Django, JavaScript and SQL.
• Demonstrated experience leading effective use of AI-assisted development tools with validation of outputs.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows and secure practices.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies (CI/CD, resiliency, security).
• Experience with cloud, AI/ML, and regulated financial environments.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews others' code.
• Identifies opportunities to reduce recurring issues and improve stability.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices and validates AI outputs.
