Our client, a real estate services company is looking to engage an experienced lead Python developer.
Rate: $65 - $70/hr
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Responsibilities:
Act as a Lead member of an Agile Development Team to deliver flexible, scalable, resilient, and performant IT products and solutions.
Provide operational support using an automation-first approach
Partner with product teams to ensure solutions support business goals and standards
Perform documentation, design and code reviews
Help the team prioritize tasks and maintain timelines to achieve delivery goals
Working with legacy code to update and improve it
Experience Requirements:
8+ years of development experience
5+ years of experience with Python and Django
Excellent analytical ability and logical troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication skills
Providing technology thought leadership (architecture, design, security, cloud, and agile)
Willingness to learn and to mentor team members
Knowledge of RESTful services - publishing, consuming, API gateway, and PostMan
Experience with GraphQL; use and implementation
Experience with CI/CD using AWS
Able to design and optimize SQL DB schema and queries
Demonstrable history of delivering solutions that provide business value
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment over multiple projects
Nice to have skills:
Familiarity with web application frameworks such as Angular and React.
Headless CMS (Content Management System) experience
Developing web and mobile-friendly applications
Leveraging application containers and container management solutions like Docker, Kubernetes, and Fargate
Tools: Jira, Confluence, BitBucket, and GitLab
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
