Responsibilities

• Provides complex scientific & technical leadership in planning, design & execution of research projects.
• Plans, develops & implements new processes & protocols to support studies.
• Oversees completion of study activities per protocol and ensures compliance.
• Reviews literature, selects applicable techniques and evaluates procedures.
• Analyzes data and assists in developing statistical methods and models.
• Prepares results, may co-author papers, and disseminates findings via seminars.
• Manages grant submissions and develops new proposals for funding.
• Acts as liaison between sponsors, collaborating institutions, and departments.
• Maintains regulatory documents and ensures timely completion of guidelines.
• May create or manage study budgets and monitor accounts; negotiates with vendors.
• Trains and mentors lab staff; oversees performance and deadlines.
